Jonathan Anderson has built a well-deserved reputation for designing provocative—but still covetable—menswear. The British designer (who pulls double duty running his own label JW Anderson and the Spanish fashion house Loewe) is known for his vision, which skews both eccentric and luxurious. So it should come as little surprise that JW's latest collaborative sneakers with White High Top Converse Womens Sale are chock-full of color and childlike wonder. After all, this is the guy who designed the glittered-out Chuck Taylors, one of the most memorable and coveted sneakers of last year. And while these new wild-as-hell kicks made their debut in JW Anderson’s Fall 2018 RTW show last February, they’re finally dropping in stores and online this week.

The sneakers of Black High Top Converse Womens Sale—the Chuck 70 Hi and the Chuck 70 Ox—feature gradient patent leather, oversized fuzzy laces, and translucent colored soles. It’s as if the Candy Land board game and a glossy leather designer handbag were bred to create a pair of shoes. And yet, the sneakers still feel right on the money—something that today’s more adventurous dressers will almost certainly want to wear.

In a press release, Anderson explains searching for inspiration “in the new, weird, and wonderful,” and the proof is certainly in the pudding. Even by the forward-thinking designer’s usual out-there standards, these sneakers are delightfully outlandish. They’re not the type of kicks you’re going to want to wear everyday, but in menswear’s current climate of wild sneakers, this shiny pair of Converse High Tops Sale Womens won’t seem too out of place in your closet.

Converse High Tops Sale Mens has been on a hot streak lately thanks the brand’s ongoing partnership with Tyler, the Creator, and designer collaborations with the likes of Midnight Studios and Virgil Abloh. Classic Converse kicks will never go out of style, but the storied brand is making a real effort to offer more elevated versions of their sneakers for today’s more fashion-forward guys. And with the right outfit, these bold JW Anderson x Converse sneakers will kick anyone’s style into high gear.
