Available in men and women-specific fits, the new salomon boots on sale is a multi-functional mid shoe which has been designed to be worn in both the city and the mountains. The design is modern and sleek, and I really like how they fit my feet – they feel snug, sturdy and supportive and have a narrow fit on the heel, meaning no slips. They are exceptionally lightweight and unlike other ‘hiking’ shoes offer the flexibility of a trainer.
If you’re a skier, or at least have caught some winter Olympics action, you know salomon speedcross trail running shoes as the French manufacturer of skis, snowboards, and bindings. If you’re an outdoorsy type, you’re probably also familiar with the brand’s technical mountaineering and running shoes. So how did their sneakers (the XA-Pro 3D GTX, to be exact) end up in a Palace lookbook?
because the foam is thicker than the aforementioned S/Lab model, salomon xa pro 3d left out its Profeel film, which is its lightweight, flexible stone protection. It did, however, layer on a Premium Wet Contagrip outsole, which we found held firm on slick rocks immediately out of stream crossings or anywhere else we encountered them.
This is the case with the Salomon Speedcross 3. It looks modest, with muted colors and styling that’s been around for a decade. But after three long days on and off trails, I’m a believer that Salomon nailed it with a heck of a good boot.
