Dallas Mavericks guard Raymond Felton Nike KD 6 Elitebeen suspended for four games as punishment for his guilty plea of attempted criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm, the NBA announced. Felton, formerly of the New York Knicks, was found to be in violation of the law of State of New York, a city with some of the most stringent gun laws in the country. Upon entering the plea, Felton was sentenced to 500 hours of community service and ordered to pay a $5,000 fine.The gun charge arose amid problems in Felton's marriage. About a week after his ex-wife, Arianne, hadher attorney take a loaded semi-automatic handgun to a police precinct and said it was Felton's and she wanted it out of the house.This happened while Felton played in a game at Madison Square Garden.
