Why choose Breitling?
For me, the Breitling icon was originally called Chronomat.
In 1984, fake breitling watches re-launched the model from the 1940s. The first Chronomat chronograph is the source of inspiration for Navitimer, which we will cover later. But for reasons that I have no reason to know, Chronomat is still a model for me in the 1980s! I spent hours listening to this unique watch for a number of reasons. Its size, roundness, unique bezel and "professional" version are suitable for a variety of aviation display teams such as Frecce Tricolori and Patrouille de France. I have been admiring it until the first "pretty" watch on my wrist: Chronomat with a white dial with a dark green calfskin strap.
Breitling is still the most well-known chronograph brand, and the two watches in the series have left their mark on the history of watchmaking: Chronomat and Navitimer (and its Cosmonaut version).
The Grenchen brand was born in 1884 and its research has contributed greatly to the development of chronographs. Breitling imitation watches invented the first independent putter in 1923, and added a second putter to reset the chronograph a few years later. So the classic chronograph design was born with two buttons and a crown. This is still the case today. Breitling also introduced the first self-winding chronograph movement in 1969, including the Calibre 11 developed in collaboration with Heuer and Buren. It is also Breitling's continued development of aerospace and electronics technology and emergency quartz technology.

The story of Navitimer began in 1942 with the Chronomat ancestors. This is the first smart watch from Breitling that contains all the calculators that are essential for the pilot at the time.

An interesting thing about iconic watches - but also frustrating - is that their appearance is the same - even if it has changed!
