Adidas POD-S3.1 Black
The Adidas POD-S3.1 Womens—a successor to the adidas NMD R1—that has now surfaced in a bold royal blue. The shoe’s upper is completely dressed in blue, while accents arrive via black suede on the heel tab/top of the tongue and a small white branded hit on the eyestay. The two-piece midsole features white EVA foam in the front and a thick chunk of white Boost in the heel—held together by a blue plastic plate—and the outsole is dressed in a clean grey.
Serving as a lifestyle successor of sorts to the NMD, Adidas POD-S3.1 Mens silhouette equips the brand’s unique split sole unit responsible for its POD monicker. Opting for a clean kit in order to accentuate the unique build of the silhouette, the Three Stripes ushers in a primarily Footwear White color scheme with red accents acting as its lone flash of color toned down by the presence of black and grey. In an effort to keep branding at a minimum as well, this Trefoil creation ushers in a tonal effect on its midfoot Three Stripes hit with factory-style lettering on its throat.
Summer is in full swing, and adidas is prepping one of their newest lifestyle silhouettes, the Adidas POD-S3.1 White, with warm-weather ready colorways. Arriving in a womens-only “Clear Mint,” this light-colored P.O.D. features a tonal faint grey mesh upper, with white branded accents arriving on both the lateral eyestays and grey suede heel tab. A light pop of color is provided by a semi-translucent mint green plastic midfoot plate that connects the shoe’s two-piece white Boost heel and white TPU forefoot. A grey and white outsole with a small black branded hit complete the shoe’s look.
The Three Stripes brand will expand upon their Adidas POD-S3.1 Black releases during the month of December. Next up the brand covers part of the model in mesh. Coming dressed in a Core Black, Real Lilac and Shock Red color combination. Looking closer you can see Dark Grey covering the heel area while the toe box features White mesh while Black lands on the underlay. In addition we have White Boost in the heel area, EVA foam in the forefoot while Volt lands on the plastic in the mid-foot to complete the look.
