Now, the loud Buy Nike Air More Uptempo sneaker is back once again with a color scheme that serves as a nod to the Georgetown Hoyas. The Hoyas were inarguably one of the top college basketball programs in the 80s and 90s, with personalities the likes of Patrick Ewing and head coach John Thompson corralling the spotlight. Dressed in Cool Grey and Midnight Navy, this bold basketball offering will give fans of other former Big East teams nightmares that remind them of having to go up against one of the nation's toughest teams.
Nike's increased emphasis toward retro 90s basketball silhouettes as of late has been no secret, as the boisterously-designed Nike Air More Uptempo on Sale silhouette has led the way for this resurgence. There's no questioning its influence in the States, but the Swoosh Brand is ready to cross the pond and head to Europe with its next three-piece set. Utilizing London, Paris, and Milan as the inspirations, all three of these Uptempo iterations feature their respective territories embroidered in a glistening white on their heel.
After a short hiatus, the Purchase Nike Air More Uptempo is returning to stores in some stylish new colorways. This fresh drop takes on a slight Olympic approach what with the white, navy, and gold achieving that USA aesthetic, although a splash of red would certainly finish off the look. Seeing that these are exclusively in grade school sizes, the visible Air unit on the sole lives only towards the heel portion of its build.
Nike Air More Uptempo Shoes Nike's revival of the Air Money has been well-received thus far; originally appearing as a PE for VICE personalities Desus & Mero, this modified classic dropped in a "Global Currency" Pack, inspired by the US Dollar, Euro, and GBP. With the groundwork laid, Nike is now unleashing new colorways of the Air More Money (the "More" comes from the use of the Air More Uptempo sole), like this new white, black, and burgundy composition.
More women’s exclusive Nike Air More Uptempo Men's/Women's are in the works as this flashy "Chrome" colorway of the ’96 basketball classic is set to return on February 2nd. Using a white leather base, this new Air More Uptempo makes use of a metallic mirror finish (Chromeposites, anyone?) on the AIR overlay while utilizing an icy blue opaque sole. It’s possible that Nike has an entire set of Sportswear footwear based off this colorway, but that remains to be seen.
