The Nike Flyknit Air Max hits all the right notes. Fans of Nike’s signature Air Max series and the full-length 360 air bubble that’s been featured on the past few flagship AM models can look to this silhouette for a familiar comfort while Flyknit can speak to an entirely new generation of sneakerheads. The coveted “Multi-Color” look made famous by such releases as the Nike Flyknit Racer has been translated on the nike air max 2014 flyknit in a rather simplistic way, allowing for the woven upper to stand out with a rainbow array of random shades throughout while a transparent midsole unit shows the inner workings of visible air. An icy blue translucent outsole highlights the cleanliness of the bottom half as juxtaposed to the controlled chaos of the multi-color upper.
The Nike Flyknit Lunar1+ – adds yet another standout colorway to its collection and this time it’s much more than the mere color blocking we’ve seen from the franchise of lightweight runners. As the “Multicolor” name implies, this rendition weaves a slew of various colored polyester yarns that includes blue, green, yellow, red and more to create a model that shouldn’t have any problems matching its wearers attire. The multicolored upper is complemented by a black Nike Swoosh, black lining, grey lacing system, and a grey tongue, as well as a two-tone grey and white Lunarlon sole.
The ever-popular nike air max 90 Essential silhouette is reworked in its latest color combination of black, white and green. Constructed with a largely black tonal upper, green segments around the eyestays and on the heel counter add a splash of color to the body. Stark Swoosh branding on the side complements the clean white midsole that is interrupted with a black section surrounding the Air unit. Hints of green from the outsole are also visible from the profile view, adding additional accents of coloration.
If you think putting Cherry Blossoms on a beloved Nike runner is a great idea, then you’re not alone. Looking back at the shoe’s Legacy, Dylan Raasch actually created this simple silhouette with the idea of Japanese “zen” in mind. The tranquil and subdued upper perhaps creates an ode to the origins that the shoe was built upon. With the latest craze of the pending sequel release, the Swoosh shows us time and time again that the Roshe Run (aka Roshe One) still holds value.
