Jack Mason Brand Designs Custom Watch for Netflix Film

At the film premiere’s after party on March 10th in Austin, Texas, the custom Jack Mason watches were gifted to the star-studded cast including Woody Haralson and Kevin Costner. Jack Mason also provided a selection of watches for the speakeasy themed South by Southwest experience, where attendees took part in different activations to earn points that could be spent in the General Store.
The vintage inspired design is based on the brand’s Field watch and introduces 1930s style elements like the gold-plated case and embossed lizard texture leather strap.
“The Field watch is our version of the classic camp watch. We chose this watch as the base because it has a simple design and takes inspiration from vintage watches. The case style also meshes well with the rugged environment surrounding Texas Rangers,” said Colin Curry, Senior Designer at Jack Mason.
Other design features include period style hands and dial design combining vintage colored luminous and sunray silver white. The brands signature lone star crown and custom caseback designs are exhibited with the Texas Rangers star and the film’s logo etched into the caseback.Staying true to the rich history of classic watchmaking, Jack Mason began crafting honest, thoughtfully designed watches in 2015.
