The Elite 7 has a very nice www.cheapmaxfreerun.uk internal liner and I’ve had no problem running sockless in them. The overlays hold the foot well, and the material seems very durable. It has a similar construction to the Kiger where it has an outer mesh (in the Elite 7’s case with some thin welded overlays instead of the engineered mesh), an internal liner, and flywire sandwiched in between.

Fit: This is where the Free Run+ really shines – it’s one of the most comfortable shoes that I own and I often wear it out and about simply for this reason. In my opinion, the uppers on the Free shoes are among my favorite on any shoe – the sockliner is very soft, and I really like the bootie design on the Free Run+. Although the shoe is supposed to b e capable of being run in sockless, my attempt at doing so resulted in hot spots that could easily have become blisters had I continued, so I would not recommend them as a sockless shoe (I have run sockless in the Free 3.0 and Saucony Kinvara without issue).

The authors further point out that loading rates in the Free 3.0 exceeded those reported for runners with a history of tibial stress fractures. Other research has found that transitioning into Nike Frees increases injury risk to a greater degree than transitioning into the Nike Pegasus or the Vibram Fivefingers (injury risk in the latter two did not differ). We don’t know for sure if increases in impact loading might explain the increased injury risk in Frees (it could be their extreme flexibility or some other factor), but the combined results of these studies suggest that caution is warranted when beginning to run in a flexible, moderately cushioned shoe like the Nike Free 3.0. At the very least, runners should pay attention to running form when transitioning into a moderately cushioned shoe as they will not provid Nike Air Max Trainers Cheap e the same level of protection for a runner with a high-impact stride.

The only major problem I could see with the Wildhorse was that it was very similar to another shoe that has gotten rave reviews: the Nike Terra Kiger. I haven’t tried the Kiger myself, but the upper is supposedly softer and more comfortable, and the added zoom air unit in the forefoot should provide a softer ride up front. The extensive overlap between the two shoes was a bit puzzling, and apparently Nike agreed since version 3 of th Nike Air Max Trainers Sale e Kiger and Wildhorse sees them start to diverge more significantly.
