It was a ho-hum win in many ways for the 23-year-old Spieth who stamped his name all over one of the United State's most famous golf courses.

No, Spieth will never drive it like D.J. or hit those towering beauties from 205 yards away like McIlroy, but what is the standard here? You think he's boring because he shot a 2-under 70 on Sunday to win Pebble. You should have watched the first 54 holes (which is where the tournament was actually won).
