Nike keep the cool Nike Internationalist Coastal Blue Supplier sneak alive, continuously delivering fresh colourways of the retro model for the past few years straight now. This particular scheme tickles our fancy in a big way, kinda looks like a staunch old school Pegasus flip or something don’t you think?Another old faithful running shoe receives a space-age update here. The Nike Internationalist has done some miles to say the least, and now Nike inject the sneak with some Lunarlon loving for 2014. A cargo khaki scheme keeps the situation subdued, while the spring sole brings the comfort factor up a few notches.
The Nike Internationalist was created for the long distance pavement pounders and fittingly dropped in serious and conservative colours when it was originally released in 1980. Now over 30 years on – resigned to the ‘lifestyle’ arena – the Nike Internationalist Obsidian Latest has a new lease on life, one that requires no endurance, pain, hardship, blood, sweat or tears, a life (shall we say) of leisure and luxury. So now that the veil of seriousness has been lifted, a little colour has come into play.
After a long, long 30 year hiatus, the Nike Internationalist Vegas Gold Best runner is coming back in 2014. Channeling that retro running vibe of yesteryear, the Internationals features a classic mesh, suede nylon mix and is set to release in a gang of two-colour schemes, including the OG royal blue/yellow makeup, and grey/red and black olive renditions.
In celebration of the 11th annual Nike Womens Half Marathon, Team Swoosh decided to pay tribute to the event with the release of the Internationalist Mid ‘WeRunSF’. These beauties are constructed of teal suede on metallic silver mesh, with branding on the tongue and insoles. The pop of hyper pink adds a bit of flavour to these kicks and will make sure you can be spotted running amongst the pack.
Nike have been really pushing the Nike Internationalist Black Store retros over the past couple of seasons. Here we have a new colourway created especially for all the goblins, gremlins, green lovers and women of the world. Looking like they’ve stepped straight out of the swamp, this release comes coloured up in a green-on-green-on-green scheme of Iron Green, Cargo Khaki and Medium Mint (green).
Thirty years on the sneaker scene, we can’t deny the Nike Internationalist Rocky Tan high quality looks its age – but that’s exactly what its fans love about it. This one rolls out just for the women with two tones of beige across the upper, with a bright yellow Swoosh shining off the sides and a hit of red on the heel tab for good measure.
