Newly-acquired Jamon Brown will start Monday night

By annual salary ($15.5 million) he is the second-highest paid left tackle in the league. He’s, umm, not the second-best offensive tackle in the league. Far from it.He is also not horrible. Despite whatever the narrative has been.Among 58 qualifying offensive tackles, Pro Football Focus has Solder ranked No. 38 in pass blocking efficiency. Twenty-two tackles have given up more pressures than the 20 Solder has surrendered. For what it’s worth Solder and Andrew Whitworth have identical pass blocking effiency scores and have given up the same number of pressures.Solder allowed only six sacks all of last year, so having given up that many in half a season isn’t good. The rest of his numbers, though, are all in line with what he’s done throughout his career.The 30-year-old figures to be the left tackle in 2019, as well.LG Will Hernandez The second-round pick is a solid building block for the Giants. He currently is the ninth-graded guard in the league, per Pro Football Focus. The five sacks he has allowed are too many, second-worst in the league, but Hernandez is 24th overall in pressures allowed with 13. His future is bright.C Spencer Pulley Here is where things start to get interesting. The 25-year-old Pulley started 16 games for the Los Angeles Chargers a season ago and was awarded to the Giants on waivers at the beginning of the season.Pulley started the final two games for the Giants before the bye.“I think he’s done a good job. He’s a natural center Aldrick Rosas Jersey , he’s a little leaner than guys that play guard. He started last year the whole season at center, so he’s got experience,” said head coach Pat Shurmur. “He’s smart; you need more than a fishing license to get into Vanderbilt. The San Francisco 49ers defense had a fairly solid performance on the stat sheet in Week 5. The defense held David Johnson to 55 yards (3.1 yards per carry), while Josh Rosen completed only 40 percent of his throws. Aside from the 75-yard touchdown pass to Christian Kirk, it was not a particularly good day for Rosen and the Cardinals offense.Pro Football Focus has finalized their grades and stats for Week 5, and it confirms a lot of what we knew about Rosen’s performance. The rookie completed 40 percent of his passes, which was last among all starting quarterbacks last week. His adjusted completion percentage was 56.5, also last among starting quarterbacks. PFF’s adjust completion percentage accounts for dropped passes, throw aways, spiked balls, batted passes, and passes where the QB was hit while they threw the ball. It does not give us a clear picture on accuracy, but it offers a little more context.Coaches film will be available later this week, but in the meantime Authentic Laken Tomlinson Jersey , Rosen’s accuracy should have cost the Cardinals the game.

has not gone the way we had hoped. We lost the running back we were counting on before the season even began and then we lost our franchise quarterback before he could fully grasp Shanahan’s offensive system. The receiver we were counting on to stretch the field has been banged up most of the time and our number two running back is too banged up to be at full strength even if he does play this week. Injuries have been a major excuse for the last four years and they are a legitimate excuse again this season. Life goes on and all we can do is try to make the best of it. Unlike some seasons in the past where the roster seems pretty cut and dry, there are a few areas where unexpected change could be in the cards.Below is a list of some veterans who the Skins may decide to part ways with in a few weeks. Some may surprise you, while others may not. Rob Kelley - The third year running back from Tulane is certainly on the roster bubble. Even though the first “unofficial” depth chart lists him as the starter, that’s pretty much written in washable sidewalk chalk. There is some though he could be offered up in a trade, but I doubt his market would be very high. He’s rushed for a pedestrian 898 yards (3.9 YPC) and nine touchdowns, and caught 16 total passes for 100 yards and a touchdown in his first two years.Brain Quick - By all accounts, Quick is having himself a very good training camp Customized Washington Redskins Jerseys , and he offers the Redskins a veteran presence within the wide receiver room. On the other hand, the team is likely to keep just six receivers on the 53-man roster, and Jay Gruden may choose to go with younger, higher ceiling players over the former 33rd overall pick of the 2012 draft, who has a combined 111 receptions for 1575 yards and 10 touchdowns in his disappointing six year career. T.J. Clemmings - There was a point in the 2015 draft evaluation process where some thought T.J. Clemmings would be as high as a second round pick. He never stood out in Minnesota as the future, and his time in DC has been overshadowed by injury. This could be the last straw for the once promising offensive lineman. He would only save the team $1.5 million by cutting him, but there just may not be enough space in what is now a crowded and talented defensive line group that will likely only keep six. Ziggy Hood - Hood has been a square peg in a round hole since arriving in Washington. He has been the team’s Nose-Tackle-by-default the past two seasons, and did not preform well there. He moved to 3-4 defensive end this year, but that move may not keep the 31 year old veteran on the roster, as there is more talented youth all around him. Martrell Spaight - Spaight started six games out of necessity last season, but was just very limited in what he can offer the defense. He certainly hits hard when he arrives, but he often arrives late Washington Redskins T-Shirt , and is very stiff and poor in coverage. He offers the team very little besides special teams ability, and his spot on the roster may very well be taken by rookie Shaun Dion Hamilton - a smart, instinctive, athletic Alabama product. Joshua Holsey - Holsey is entering his second year in the NFL, and definitely had some promise, but an untimely freak toe injury, described by Jay Gruden as nearly “severing” his big toe, may have sealed his fate with the team. There is a possibility that rookie Danny Johnson Washington Redskins Hats , who is having a tremendous camp, steals his spot for good, while the Skins try and stash fellow rookie Greg Stroman on the practice squad for future development.

Giants starting outside linebacker and defensive end Olivier Vernon left practice today with an apparent ankle injury. The Vernon reportedly got his foot tangled while working through blocks in practice Sunday afternoon Cheap Customized New York Giants Jerseys , and was carted off the field. Head coach Pat Shurmur spoke to the media after practice, and didn’t give much in the way of details, simply saying that he is being evaluated.
