According to the Coinshares Digital Asset Fund Flows report, digital asset investment products had witnessed a 4th consecutive week of outflows. While negative sentiment did remain very small in comparison to early 2018, Ethereum recorded net outflows of $50 million.
In comparison, Bitcoin registered minor net outflows of $1.3 million, as there was mixed sentiment between Bitcoin investors.

ETH Options expiry on 25th might have triggered chaos
On 25th June, ETH Options faced its largest Options Expiry where ETH contracts worth over $1.4 billion were executed. Due to ETHs value being under $2100 during that time, most of the long contracts were deemed worthless, and market sentiment might be pulled towards a negative outlook. Prices immediately dropped as well, and Ethereum declined to ~$1700 at one point in time before recovering in the charts.
It can be inferred that capital outflows might have been a trigger, based on the options sentiment dropping in the charts, as some of the accredited investors might have pulled out to minimize losses while exiting Q2 2021.
Are prices going to facilitate more selling pressure due to capital loss？ Probably not.

At the film premiere’s after party on March 10th in Austin, Texas, the custom Jack Mason watches were gifted to the star-studded cast including Woody Haralson and Kevin Costner. Jack Mason also provided a selection of watches for the speakeasy themed South by Southwest experience, where attendees took part in different activations to earn points that could be spent in the General Store.
The vintage inspired design is based on the brand’s Field watch and introduces 1930s style elements like the gold-plated case and embossed lizard texture leather strap.
“The Field watch is our version of the classic camp watch. We chose this watch as the base because it has a simple design and takes inspiration from vintage watches. The emotional hold that gems have over us is reflected in a current interest in jewellery that is unique and characterful. “In our end of the industry, big sparkly diamonds are not the thing at all,” says Harriet Scott of The Goldsmiths’ Company, an organisation that has supported silversmiths and jewellers for seven centuries, and whose annual Goldsmiths’ Fair takes place this month. “People are looking for something more individual and also affordable.”
Stories of unusual commissions abound, among them a ring created by Vicki Ambery-Smith, inspired by real and imagined architecture. “One of my rings celebrates a 10th wedding anniversary based on places of significance: St Ebbe’s Church where my client was married, her home in Oxford and even her car.” Recent Royal College of Art graduate Gearry Suen turns heirloom pieces into modern designs, using 3D modelling combined with ancient techniques like jade carving. Although upcycling and recycling of heirloom pieces is also currently experiencing a surge in popularity, it’s not a new phenomenon. “Recycling gemstones has been going on since Roman times, which is partly why so little jewellery survives outside of royal and museum collections,” says Tricia Topping, Goldsmiths’ Fair ambassador.
A wave of repurposing followed the execution of Charles I when Oliver Cromwell had the crown jewels either destroyed or repurposed, and their gold settings turned into coins stamped with ‘Commonwealth of England’. Refashioning jewels was one of the ways that Cartier built its business in the early 20th Century. And perhaps the most famous – and controversial – example of a refashioned jewel is that of the Koh-i-Noor. One of the largest cut diamonds in the world, it was ceded to Queen Victoria after the British annexation of the Punjab in 1849, and exhibited at the 1851 Great Exhibition. At Prince Albert’s insistence, the stone was recut to make it sparkle more, reducing its size dramatically but answering the tastes of the day.
Often settings are old fashioned and pieces therefore often go unworn. The stones they contain are far more desirable, however. “I want a cocktail ring that can be worn with jeans,” one client told jeweller Maya Selway, who liberated an emerald from an outdated setting.

At the heart of the transformation is a reliance on data science and digital technology to spur everything from drug discovery to manufacturing to customer engagement. The broad goals are: shortening by two years the time drugs take to reach the market; reaching twice as many patients twice as quickly; and simplifying operations, Bodson said.
Concrete steps include making it easier for outside partners, from startups to big tech firms, to work with Novartis.
“We realize we’re not easy to work with,” Bodson said. “We realize that part of it is regulated, part of it we put our own complexity in the way, we have too many interfaces. So, we started treating startups and external partners truly as our customers.”
A key part of the effort has been the creation of spaces that Novartis calls Biomes, which Bodson describes as homes where startups can work collaboratively with Novartis. The company currently operates four Biomes, in San Francisco, the United Kingdom, France and India. It is looking to add nearly a dozen more, including in Asia, Australia and South America.
Bodson also cited Novartis’ recent partnerships with tech giants like Amazon, Microsoft and Tencent. Novartis is working with the Chinese internet giant on a digital platform to help people manage chronic heart disease, a leading cause of death in China. Amazon, meanwhile, is working with Novartis on a digital transformation of the pharma company’s manufacturing and distribution operations. Microsoft is helping Novartis take advantage of AI in drug research.Bodson ended his session with a focus on the need for tech talent in areas such as AI, user experience, software development and digital marketing. In that vein, Novartis sponsored a survey of 1,500 tech professionals this summer to gauge their attitudes toward heathcare.
Of those surveyed, 86% said they believed that health care’s digital moment had arrived and more professionals are interested in working in the field: 72% said they are more likely to consider working in health care now than they were six months ago.
“However, we also noticed, and there is a however, that 40% expressed that they were nervous about this space,” Bodson said, noting they were worried they did not understand biology, chemistry or other sciences at play in medicine.
Nonetheless, he said, health care can benefit from diverse professional viewpoints. “My message to the audience on that is, we need the best of each of those disciplines to really come together. That’s what we do in life sciences, as well. We get science, technology, data together. We need more of those talents that think outside of the box.”

Most of the frustration is structured in a way where they criticize Blizzard for taking the time to fix the Timewalking bug, but leave other frustrating issues with the game untouched. For example, adding portals in Sanctum, leaving ads up in the Looking for Group menus, and other topics of frustration in recent memory.
A big source of frustration is the growing perception within the World of Warcraft community that Blizzard only acts on issues when there's money on the line. As in, since players were leveling using Timewalking, it was too easy to level and so Blizzard stopped it so that players would continue to purchase character boosts in the store. This is a sentiment also seen in the community's criticism of World of Warcraft's subscription monetization.
Blizzard obviously has bigger issues at hand than small controversies over Timewalking experience, of course. The company is facing allegations regarding a toxic workplace and gender discrimination, which includes a lawsuit by the state of California. Still, smaller issues building over time can be just as debilitating as larger issues.
